The following (adult) evening pick-ups have been added to the Metro schedule:

Thursday, April 3rd, April 10th & April 24th (8-9:30pm)
Sessions are $10 per player/per session and MUST be 18 and over to participate.

Cost: $10 per session.

Jerry Weiss is currently working on rosters, hotel information and schedules for the QCSC tournament. We are bringing 2 teams again this year from DSM. Details will be available at Sunday’s games (3/30). We also reserved a private practice session over at the Facility for QCSC players. Cost will be $10 per person (including goalies).

Please email Jerry for practice session details and to let him know if you can or cannot attend so we can recruit more bodies for this scrimmage if necessary.

Pink in the rink brought record attendance to the Wells Fargo Arena.  The announcer mentioned there were 8,309 fans supporting the Iowa Stars and the John Stoddard Cancer Center last night.  The ice looked great!  Congrats to the Iowa Stars organization for a well deserved pat on the back for coordinating this great event.  Details can be found on the Iowa Stars website.  Stars lost to the Quad City Flames 5-2.
