Pink in the rink brought record attendance to the Wells Fargo Arena.  The announcer mentioned there were 8,309 fans supporting the Iowa Stars and the John Stoddard Cancer Center last night.  The ice looked great!  Congrats to the Iowa Stars organization for a well deserved pat on the back for coordinating this great event.  Details can be found on the Iowa Stars website.  Stars lost to the Quad City Flames 5-2.

The Iowa Stars invite you to our “Salute to Health Professionals” night and “Pink in the Rink” to benefit the John Stoddard Cancer Center!

Come watch the Stars in action as they host their West Division rival, the Quad City Flames on Saturday, March 15, 2008. Help pack Wells Fargo Arena with co-workers, friends and family for a great cause!

The ice will be painted pink and Stars players will be wearing special jerseys that will be auctioned after the game to raise money for the John Stoddard Cancer Center.
